<p>This structure, originally designed by Buckminster Fuller, is a geodesic dome greenhouse filled with exotic tropical plants from around the world.  Morgan Associates designed a new geodesic dome to replace the original deteriorated dome. This building continues to be considered one of the most recognisable structures in the world.</p>

<p>Morgan Associates has most recently completed the 6,000 s.f. Jim and Anna Lechie Activities Center for Family Guidance Promise Camp. The Building houses recreational and performance space for Family Guidance’s summer programs, and includes an outdoor pool. We are currently designing Phase II for the project. A new camp dining facility with a commercial kitchen.</p>

<h3>Three Rivers Stadium – Consulting Architect to The Stadium Authority</h3>

<p>Morgan Associates / Architects was the consulting architect to Three Rivers Stadium from 1976 through 1995. During this time, the firm designed or oversaw the construction of more than $25,000,000 worth of improvements and maintenance projects at the stadium including the addition of 3100 new seats,The addition of 22 new corporate luxury boxes,the addition of a new 1100 car parking lot, new toilet facilities, new field lighting, concrete, caulking and expansion joint repair, painting of structural steel, re-keying and replacing of all locksets, the addition of a new sound system, the addition of a new scoreboard, toilet room renovations, the addition of new concession stands, alterations for ADA compliance, the addition of a new football press box.</p>

			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<h2>Morgan Associates has developed the reputation as a leader in urban retail, residential and commercial/office structures.</h2>
<p>The retail projects range from small storefront restorations in historic districts to large new-urbanist or lifestyle shopping centers. Our residential work includes several luxury loft projects throughout the city of Pittsburgh.</p>
<p>Our architects have designed several office projects, including a new seven story office tower in Fort Meyers, FL for The DOC Corporation. Two separate schemes were designed; one that included a seventh floor residence for the owner of the company. Construction Documents have been completed for this project which is currently awaiting financing.</p>
<p>In addition, our architects have designed several tenant fitouts for various medical offices, including Siegel and Portnoy Eye Care Associates in Pittsburgh, PA; West Penn Allegheny Health System’s Emergency Care and Doctor’s Offices in Irwin, PA; and Valor Health Care Doctor’s offices in Cranberry, PA.</p>
<p>We designed a four story speculative masonry office building in Greentree, PA as well as a number of office layouts for tenants at Chatham Center and The Benedum-Trees Building in Pittsburgh.</p>

New 13,000 s.f. urban retail project in Pittsburgh’s Baum/Centre corridor. The project was designed using quality urban design principles to create a multi-tenant neighborhood shopping center. Morgan Associates participated in numerous community meetings to ensure that the building fits in with the neighborhood context.</p>
<h3>Freedom Square Retail Development</h3>
<p>Cranberry, PA</p>
<p>New 31,000 s.f. retail center in Cranberry Township, PA. The project was designed for flexibility in leasing while maintaining a strong main street presence.</p>
<h3>Nakama Japanese Steak House and Sushi Bar</h3>
<p>South Side – Pittsburgh, PA</p>
<p>Historic Restoration of an existing 24,000 s.f. building on a prominent South Side corner housing the popular Japanese restaurant.</p>

<p>Morgan Associates / Architects designed the historic preservation of this 24,000 square foot, turn-of-the-century building on the corner of 17th and Carson Streets in Pittsburgh’s historic South Side neighborhood. The restoration consisted of removing the brick placed in the original openings by previous owners, and installing new wood and glass storefronts along the Carson Street and 17th Street elevations. The restaurant is a 6,000 sf open plan hibachi style steak house with a large sushi bar and cocktail bar.</p>

<h3>Mantini’s Wood Fired &#8211; South Side Pittsburgh, PA</h3>

<p>Mantini’s Wood Fired is a fine dining restaurant located on East Carson Street in Pittsburgh’s historic South Side neighborhood. Morgan Associates designed the renovation to two existing buildings, combining them into one space. The restaurant features an open display kitchen, high ceilings, large round booths and a cocktail bar the looks out onto busy East Carson Street.</p>
