Morgan Associates has developed the reputation as a leader in urban retail, residential and commercial/office structures.
The retail projects range from small storefront restorations in historic districts to large new-urbanist or lifestyle shopping centers. Our residential work includes several luxury loft projects throughout the city of Pittsburgh.
Our architects have designed several office projects, including a new seven story office tower in Fort Meyers, FL for The DOC Corporation. Two separate schemes were designed; one that included a seventh floor residence for the owner of the company. Construction Documents have been completed for this project which is currently awaiting financing.
In addition, our architects have designed several tenant fitouts for various medical offices, including Siegel and Portnoy Eye Care Associates in Pittsburgh, PA; West Penn Allegheny Health System’s Emergency Care and Doctor’s Offices in Irwin, PA; and Valor Health Care Doctor’s offices in Cranberry, PA.
We designed a four story speculative masonry office building in Greentree, PA as well as a number of office layouts for tenants at Chatham Center and The Benedum-Trees Building in Pittsburgh.

Centre Plaza Retail Development
Pittsburgh, PA
New 13,000 s.f. urban retail project in Pittsburgh’s Baum/Centre corridor. The project was designed using quality urban design principles to create a multi-tenant neighborhood shopping center. Morgan Associates participated in numerous community meetings to ensure that the building fits in with the neighborhood context.
Freedom Square Retail Development
Cranberry, PA
New 31,000 s.f. retail center in Cranberry Township, PA. The project was designed for flexibility in leasing while maintaining a strong main street presence.
Nakama Japanese Steak House and Sushi Bar
South Side – Pittsburgh, PA
Historic Restoration of an existing 24,000 s.f. building on a prominent South Side corner housing the popular Japanese restaurant.
2004 East Carson Street
South Side – Pittsburgh, PA
Historic Restoration of a turn-of-the-century East Carson Street building to house two new commercial spaces and one luxury apartment.
Park View Flats
South Side – Pittsburgh, PA
Historic Restoration of a turn-of-the-century, 16-unit luxury apartment building. The building had been severely damaged by fire.
